  Sex therapist and aphrodisiac seller, Jaruma, has responded after she was called out by actress Regina Daniels.   Jaruma and Regina, who have enjoyed a great relationship in the past, going by the videos they shared of each other, had a falling out after it was revealed that Regina's co-wife, Laila Charani, has divorced from their husband, Ned Nwoko.   A number of people who reacted to the divorce credited the power of Jaruma's product as they insinuated Regina used the kayanmata products to have Ned all to herself.   Regina then released a statement, accusing Jaruma of using the incident to promote her "selfish desires".   "I will not tolerate Jaruma using this issue that practically portrays me as a bad person for her selfish desires knowing fully well I have never and will never use whatever she sells as I have no reason to."   Regina insisted that despite influencing for Jaruma's brand and posting the products on her Instagram,  she has never used

  A final list of candidates for the Anambra Governorship election has been released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).    National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye who made the announcement on Thursday October 7, said 18 registered political parties will be participating in the election. Okoye also revealed that INEC will be holding an emergency consultative meeting on Friday, October 8, with the leadership of all registered political parties in Abuja. The INEC commissioner further assured the people of the state of the commission’s resolve to secure a safe environment that will enable them to vote.   He said;    “In line with the Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the election released on 19th January 2021, the Commission has today, 7th October 2021 implemented two additional activities. “The Final Register of Voters for the Anambra Governorship election was presented to the 18 Registered Political Parties

  Veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu, who was arrested by the Nigerian Army on Wednesday, October 7, for adorning an outfit with the Biafran flag on it, has been released.   He was released today October 8, after the leadership of the Actors Guild of Nigeria mediated.     

  Dr. Chike Akunyili Obumneme, a son of the murdered Dr. Chike Akunyili has described how his father was killed by the yet-to-be-identified persons. The medical doctor and widower of a late Minister of Information, Dora Akunyili, was killed on Monday evening when he was returning from a commemorative lecture in honour of his late wife, Dora. The Police Command in Anambra State, where the incident happened, has vowed to unravel the brains behind the murder. Speaking with the BBC Igbo, Obumneme said that his dad was shot in the face by gunmen who opened fire on his vehicle at Nkpor, Anambra State. “His driver and a Police officer assigned to him also died in the shooting. A cousin survived and is being treated in hospital,” Obumneme added. They were driving back from the town of Nsukka in Enugu state after attending a lecture hosted by the University of Nigeria to pay tribute to the late NAFDAC DG, Dora.

  84-year-old Kenyan man, Peter Oyuk, is disappointed after returning home to find that the two wives he abandoned 47 years ago have remarried.   According to The Standard, the octogenarian had walked out of his Makale village in Malava, Kakamega county in 1974 at aged 37.   He told his people that he was going in search of greener pastures because he needed to take care of two wives and five children, although details of where he was headed and his expected return date were scanty.   Oyuka visited Kakamega in 1983, 1992 and 1996, but never set foot in his home despite being in close proximity to the family. After waiting for many years, his wives moved on and remarried.    On Tuesday, September 21, Oyuka returned to his village where only a few individuals could recognise him.   The Nigerian Naira hit a new time low on Wednesday September 15, as it is now exchanging between N562 and N570 for 1$ in parallel markets.    Though data recorded on the FMDQ securities exchange window where forex is officially traded, showed that the naira closed at N412.06 per $1 at the official window on Wednesday September 15, the same rate it exchanged on Tuesday September 14, walk-in customers exchanged between N562 to N567 for $1. A married woman, Mrs. Adeola Moshood, 33, is critical ill at Gbagada General Hospital in Lagos after her husband’s mistress, Precious Ahanonu, attacked and poured hot water on her after the woman allegedly caught the mistress with the husband.   The incident reportedly happened at Okerube in Abaranje area of Ikotun, Lagos, where the couple reside. The husband, Aremu Moshood,  opened a fish pond and employed Precious, 26, to manage it.   After a while the husband allegedly started sleeping with Precious and rented a one bedroom and parlour self-contained apartment for her without the knowledge of his wife.   Laban Sabiti, a 29-year-old retail businessman in Bishayu Village, Ruhija Sub-county in Rubanda District, Uganda, pictured above, has been left stranded with five children including a 13-month toddler.   Mr Sabiti was left stranded with the children after his father-in-law, Mr Geoffrey Kakona, a resident of Kirima Village, Bushuura parish in Kanungu District reportedly reclaimed his daughter after Sabiti allegedly failed to settle bride price arrears totalling Shs6m.   The Federal Government has hinted on taking some measures against people who refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccines.    Executive Director of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Faisal Shuaib at a press briefing on Tuesday August 31, said the Federal Government may “apply the basic rule of law” against such people because they will be endangering the lives of others.  Shuaib also stated that the Buhari-led administration is making frantic efforts in making the vaccines more accessible to all Nigerians.   He said;    “If some individuals refuse to take the vaccine, hence endangering those who have or those who could not due to medical exemptions, then we have to apply the basic rule of law which stipulates that your human right stops where mine begins.  “So, you have a right to refuse vaccines, but you do not have the right to endanger the health of others. “The Presidential Steering Committee and the Federal Ministry of Health is exploring ways of making vaccines more

  Photos have emerged showing Taliban supporters in Afghanistan holding a mock funeral while hoisting coffins draped with flags from the U.S. and other NATO countries.   The photos were taken in Khost, Afghanistan just a day after the last U.S. troops left the country after spending nearly 20-years in the country.   A 20-year-old South African woman has given birth to a baby with a rare condition called progeria, a progressive genetic disorder that causes children to age rapidly.   Progeria, also known as Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome (HGPS) is caused by a mutation (change) in the lamin (LMNA) gene.    The woman from Libode in Eastern Cape, delivered the baby girl at home two months ago. Local mid-wives including the baby's grandmother noticed that she exhibited signs that were different from most babies. Her hands are deformed and her skin was wrinkled. She is currently in hospital with her mother.   "When she was in labour we called an ambulance but it took long to come. So she gave birth here at home. But the delivery got complicated and we hired a van to take her to hospital," the grandmother said.   "We were told there that she’s disabled. I noticed during her birth that there was something strange with her. She did not cry and she was breathing through the ribs. I

  A two-year-old boy has died after he was forgotten inside a hot car for three hours by his babysitter.   Arthur Oliveira dos Santos was being looked after by babysitter Glaucia Aparecida Luiz, 35, who reportedly ran an "unauthorised daycare centre" in her home in Sao Paulo, Brazil, police said. According to police statement, Arthur was tragically forgotten and spent the afternoon in a boiling hot car under the scorching sun, outside the suspect's home. Officers rushed to the scene on Wednesday, August 25, after the boy was discovered, The Sun reports.   They rushed the boy to the hospital but he was confirmed dead on arrival. It is thought the child died of suffocation and dehydration, but an autopsy to confirm the exact cause of death will be taking place soon.   Police say the suspect and her daughter took care of more than 10 children in their home and described it as an "irregular daycare centre".
